Walid Shukri
Walid Ibrahim Shukri’s board career has been built on professional merit and personal initiative — the foundation of the genuine independence he brings to every board he serves.
He currently serves on the boards of Saudi Telecom Company (stc), Saudi Electricity Company, SALIC, and MEPCO, chairing audit and risk committees across his portfolio. His experience spans listed companies, sovereign-linked entities, GCC family conglomerates, global corporations, and businesses at different stages of maturity — across telecom, utilities, oil and gas, mining, manufacturing, and real estate.
A formal fiduciary in three jurisdictions — Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and Australia — Walid brings a genuinely cross-continental governance perspective. He is a former Managing Partner of PwC Saudi Arabia, holds dual US and Saudi CPA licences, and graduated with honours from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
