Enterprise Resilience Programme Manager, ESKOM, South Africa

Liza is a sense-maker and systems thinker. Always curious and ask good questions. She has decades of experience across various roles and divisions in Eskom, the South African national electricity utility. Her career spanned started as a programmer and systems analyst in Geographical Information Systems in IT, to a business systems owner of a growing enterprise GIS, to enterprise architecture and enterprise resilience assessments. Currently she shapes and safeguards the enterprise resilience programme.

She has a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics, postgrad qualifications in Geographical Information Systems and Engineering Business Management, and an interdisciplinary PhD from Stellenbosch Centre for Sustainability Transitions.
