Eng. Abdulla Al Remeithi is an Emirati environmental leader who serves as Executive Director of Integrated Environment Policy and Planning at the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi. In this role, he leads the development of strategic environmental policies, sustainability frameworks, and climate initiatives that advance Abu Dhabi’s long-term environmental ambitions and the UAE’s national sustainability agenda.

With extensive experience across environmental policy, climate governance, and sustainable development, Eng. Abdulla has been instrumental in integrating environmental priorities into government planning and economic development. His work spans sustainability, clean air, climate resilience, and net-zero transition pathways, while driving innovative approaches that advance the UAE’s leadership in sustainable environmental governance. He has also contributed to initiatives that strengthen community engagement and support data-driven environmental decision-making at a national level.
