James Daniell is the Managing Director and Head of Disputes & Investigations at Alvarez & Marsal Middle East. With over 20 years of experience in financial crime risk management, regulatory investigations, and disputes, he leads the Middle East practice, overseeing a team of forensic experts. For the past 13 years, he has focused on advising clients across the Middle East and Central Asia, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. Daniell regularly collaborates with regulators, government authorities, and law firms on high-profile investigations and asset recovery efforts. Prior to joining A&M, he spent nine years at Kroll in London and Dubai. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and Spanish from the University of Leeds and is a CFA and CAMS certified professional. A sports enthusiast, he enjoys playing various sports with his two sons and is currently training to climb Mount Kenya in June 2024.
