Ms Kemi is an accomplished and dynamic leader in the internal audit industry, with over 10 years of experience that spans both the public and private sectors. She is the Founder and Director of SQR Audits, a firm specializing in internal audits, fraud investigations, risk and ethics management consulting. Kemelo holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg, a Postgraduate Diploma in Internal Auditing from UNISA, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and is currently a PhD Candidate at WITS School of Governance.

Her expertise and influence extend beyond her company. In 2021, she was honoured with a nomination for Compliance Officer of the Year by the Compliance Institute of Southern Africa, and in 2022, SQR Audits was awarded the prestigious Transformation Manager of the Year award by the Black Management Forum.
