Michael Sparks is an experienced financial services risk executive and former Chief Risk & Compliance Officer for BNY’s Issuer Services businesses, where he led global risk and compliance teams across a multi jurisdictional platform. With more than 25 years in banking and markets, he brings a practitioner’s view on how risk, regulation and strategy connect in real organisations.
He is a regular international speaker and moderator, contributing on topics including resilience, culture and ethics, AI and model risk governance, and the three lines of defence.
