Sohil Mohamed
Sohil Mohamed is a Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in Dubai. A member of the Global Cyber Risk Services practice, he specializes in cybersecurity and information risk services. His primary areas of concentration are enterprise security architecture and cybersecurity strategy development and implementation.
With more than 18 years of cybersecurity and information risk experience, Mr. Mohamed has provided cyber risk advisory services for multiple sophisticated mega and giga projects, developing and implementing cybersecurity programs and strategies across multiple businesses and industry types.
Mr. Mohamed’s notable experience includes leading the development and implementation of target Enterprise Security Architecture; Cybersecurity Architecture Blueprints, including use cases; reference architecture; logical architecture and design patterns; and developing the conceptual design of a Cyber Defense Center (SoC of SoCs), including its operating model and service catalogue along with data protection strategy and frameworks. Mr. Mohamed has worked with clients in various industries, including military and defense, smart cities, government, financial services and telecommunications operators.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Mohamed spent two-and-a-half years with the NEOM (First Cognitive City in the World) Cybersecurity Department in Saudi Arabia, serving most recently as Enterprise Security Architecture Practice Lead. He led critical cybersecurity projects, including NEOM wide enterprise security architecture, cyber defense center and data protection programs.
Mr. Mohamed earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical machines and power engineering from Helwan University in Cairo. Mr. Mohamed is fluent in Arabic and English.
