Dr. Kibachio J. Mwangi is a medical doctor, public health specialist and global health leader with extensive experience spanning senior government leadership, international public health, health policy and programme implementation.

He currently serves the Cluster Lead for Health Promotion, Disease Prevention and Control, and as Medical Officer and Advisor for Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) and Mental Health at the World Health Organization (WHO) Country Office in South Africa.
