Salem Mubarak Al Braik, Chairman of the Governance Committee at the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD), has over 25 years of experience spanning the oil and gas and government sectors. As Governance Committee Chairman, he has led the development of key frameworks, including the EAD Governance Guidebook, RACI matrices, and Delegation of Authority, driving institutional integrity and operational clarity. Salem also serves as Director of Waste Management at EAD, where he oversees strategic initiatives for sustainable practices. He is an active member of various local and federal committees at the emirate and UAE levels. Previously, he held leadership roles at EAD & the National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), gaining expertise in operational excellence.
