Gihan Hyde is an award-winning ESG strategist and one of the UK’s most influential voices in sustainability and communications.
In 2025, she was appointed CEO of the Saafah Foundation—Saudi Arabia’s first ESG and Corporate Governance Youth Training & Enablement Foundation—personally selected for the role by Prince Turki bin Al Saud. This appointment reflects her growing global influence in driving sustainability, innovation, and inclusive leadership.
Gihan is the Founder and former CEO of CommUnique, one of the UK’s fastest-growing B.Corp-certified ESG strategy and communications advisory firms. Under her leadership, CommUnique delivered ESG narratives and strategies for major global clients and earned recognition as a values-driven, impact-focused consultancy.
Her accolades include CEO of the Year by CEO Magazine, LinkedIn Top ESG & Green Voice (2023–2024), Campaign Magazine’s 40 Over 40, and Top Female Leaders to Watch by CIO Magazine.
She previously led ESG and employee engagement efforts at major organisations including BP, HSBC, Barclays, M&S, and the Riyadh Metro Project—impacting more than 150,000 employees, reaching 200,000 customers, and helping to secure $300 million in sales.
