Sergiu is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA - inactive) with nearly 27 years of experience, blending expertise as a governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) practitioner and GRC software specialist. His deep experience in the GRC domain has provided a strong foundation for a career in software solutions, where he continues to focus on advancing GRC software capabilities.
Over the past decade, Sergiu has increasingly focused on leading teams across various functions such as product strategy, solution consulting, architecture, and analyst relations while actively providing domain expertise in support of product management, professional services, marketing, and sales functions.
In addition to being a frequent speaker at industry conferences hosted by Internal Audit, Compliance, and Risk institutions across North America, Europe, and Asia, Sergiu has authored various publications in industry outlets on internal audit, compliance, and risk management topics. He has also conducted panel interviews with leading speakers and analysts at major industry events, contributing to shaping the discourse in the GRC field.
Currently, Sergiu leads the global business development strategy and drives product packaging for Corporater, ensuring that preconfigured GRC solutions are aligned with customer needs and delivered with speed and precision.
