Driving Success: Integrating GRC with Strategy Execution in a Hyperconnected World

    about

The G[P]RC Summit is the world’s largest event dedicated to GPRC — the integration of Governance, Risk and Compliance with Performance and Strategy. It brings together C-suite executives, GRC professionals, and experts from industry and academia worldwide to share insights, innovative solutions and best practices that drive organisational success and resilience in an increasingly complex and interconnected business environment.

The 2026 edition of the Summit is centred on the theme “Driving Success: Integrating GRC with Strategy Execution in a Hyperconnected World.”

In today’s rapidly evolving business landscape, organisations face a broad range of challenges — from regulatory complexity and market disruption to the accelerating impact of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. Across the GCC, there is a growing shift towards embedding sustainability, accountability and compliance within core organisational strategies. In the UAE, sustainability remains a national priority, particularly following the hosting of COP28, with ESG frameworks increasingly integrated to support long-term economic growth. The social and financial consequences of non-compliance are significant, making organisational resilience more critical than ever.

To thrive in this dynamic environment, organisations must move beyond traditional approaches to governance, performance management, risk mitigation and compliance. They must evolve into connected enterprises, where these disciplines are seamlessly integrated to enable strategic alignment, digital transformation and data-driven decision-making. By aligning GRC with strategy execution, organisations ensure that people, processes and data are fully interconnected and strategically aligned. This integration enhances agility, adaptability and resilience, enabling organisations to manage complexity effectively and capitalise on emerging opportunities in a hyperconnected world.

The G[P]RC Summit 2026 will be a two-day event featuring keynote presentations and panel discussions led by distinguished regional and international speakers. The programme will explore key themes including governance best practice, performance optimisation, risk mitigation strategies and regulatory compliance assurance. Attendees will gain practical insight into the latest trends, methodologies, tools and innovations in GPRC, equipping them to address future challenges with confidence.

Join us at the G[P]RC Summit 2026 and be part of a transformative journey towards driving sustainable success in a hyperconnected world.

Aligning GRC with Business Strategy and Operational Goals

It is usual practice to see organisations consider Governance, Risk and Compliance as a mere compliance function rather than a strategic exercise. Such an approach to GRC can create multiple inefficiencies and missed opportunities for the organisation. It is an interesting discussion as an elite group of experts examine the need to integrate GRC into an organisation’s business strategy.

Business 2036 | Craft Your Strategic Moonshot

Some experts anticipate more change in the next 10 years than in the previous 100. Profound shifts are coming. In the face of such acceleration, leaders must answer three fundamental questions: What is our plan? What is our strategy? And are we truly prepared?

This keynote introduces a practical, action-oriented approach to crafting a 2036 Strategic Moonshot, while identifying the critical strategic levers required to bridge the gap between today’s reality and tomorrow’s ambition.

AI Governance as an Innovation Enabler: A Framework for Accountable Growth

The rapid adoption of Artificial Intelligence presents a profound duality for modern enterprises: the immense potential for innovation set against a complex new landscape of ethical, regulatory, and reputational risk. In this environment, many organisations view governance as a necessary brake on progress. This session argues for a paradigm shift: viewing robust AI governance not as an inhibitor, but as the essential foundation that builds trust and enables sustainable innovation. Akshay Dalal will explore a practical framework for balancing accountability with agility. Attendees will learn how to operationalise ethical principles, embed responsibility throughout the AI lifecycle, and build an enabling governance programme that fosters confidence, manages risk, and unlocks AI's true transformative potential.

Blueprint for Governing the Extended Enterprise with Integrity, Insight & Accountability

The boundaries of the modern enterprise have dissolved. Today’s organisations no longer operate within the neatly defined walls of traditional business structures. Instead, they function as vast, dynamic ecosystems of interconnected relationships — spanning suppliers, service providers, outsourcers, contractors, intermediaries, agents, resellers, consultants, platforms, and deep, multi-tier supply chains. This extended enterprise is essential for agility and performance, yet it also introduces exponential complexity, dependency, and exposure.

This 90-minute pilot masterclass is a short, focused session designed to explore one core idea: how leadership behaviour at the moment of decision shapes risk outcomes.

Rather than covering broad frameworks, the session zooms in on the human and cultural dynamics that influence how risks are surfaced, discussed and owned in practice. Through guided reflection and real-world scenarios, participants examine how their leadership stance either enables or suppresses accountability, clarity and sound judgement.

      • Risk as a leadership moment, not a process
      • How leaders show up under uncertainty and pressure
      • Control vs trust: when each helps and when it harms
      • Psychological safety and its role in surfacing real risks
